CHAIR TO ENHANCE COMFORT AND WELFARE THANKS TO THE FRIENDS

An intensive bed chair that promises to cut down or completely avoid a stay in hospital altogether has been provided by the Friends for the Medical Assessment Unit. Sister Jessy Gulati explained that the only chairs available for patients in the Ambulatory Emergency Care department were just for sitting on. “Sometimes patients are in the department for a whole day, and throughout that time it is especially important they are not immobilized in a horizontal position. This bed-chair will increase patient comfort and welfare.”
