SHOP OPEN - Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600 hrs and Trolley up and running...to non Covid wards.

Due to operational changes within the IW NHS our outlets in Laidlaw and Out Patients Department in the main hospital will not be available to us in th future. We are delighted however to let you know that our outlet in Ryde Wellbeing Centre has now re-opened for limited hours.

After ending the trolley service to the wards in March 2020, because of the pandemic, we are once again taking our much-appreciated items to patients, including newspapers, toiletries and ‘treats’.

Before the trolley starts each round, however, a check is made where it can be taken safely that day. “And the volunteers who run the service are reporting a warm and enthusiastic welcome from everyone it reaches,” said Friends chairman, Lesley Myland.

We are extremely grateful to those who continue to generously donate to the Friends by shopping in our retail outlets, by remembering us in their wills, through fundraising activities or by sparing change in our collection tins found around the Island.
